A24's highly anticipated film, 'The Brutalist,' is set for its first 70mm screenings on December 19th in New York City and Los Angeles. This three-plus-hour epic, directed by Brady Corbet and starring Adrien Brody, was filmed in VistaVision, promising stunning clarity.

The Film's Story
'The Brutalist' follows the journey of László Toth, a visionary architect and Holocaust survivor who rebuilds his life in post-war America. This $10 million production, which premiered at the Venice Film Festival, is already being hailed as a potential Oscar contender. Variety's chief film critic, Owen Gleiberman, praised its “pleasing stateliness” and abundance of “incident and emotion.”
Release Dates
The film has a limited US release on December 20th, followed by a wider release in January.
