JFK Stowaway's Plea and Detention

Svetlana Dali, accused of sneaking onto a Delta flight from JFK to Paris last Thanksgiving, pleaded not guilty to federal stowaway charges. She was immediately ordered held without bail.

Dali was initially released on bail but re-arrested after removing her GPS tracker and attempting to cross into Canada. She's currently detained at the Brooklyn Detention Center, alongside other high-profile inmates.

Plea Deal in the Works

Prosecutors and Dali's lawyer are working on a plea deal to avoid a trial. A mental health evaluation for Dali is also being pursued.
