Nargis Fakhri's Sister Charged with Murder in Queens Fire
Aliya Fakhri, sister of Bollywood actress Nargis Fakhri, has been arrested and indicted on murder charges in connection with a fatal fire in Queens, New York. The fire, which occurred on November 2nd, resulted in the deaths of her 35-year-old ex-boyfriend, Edward Jacobs, and his 33-year-old friend, Anastasia Ettienne.

Both Jacobs and Ettienne perished from smoke inhalation and thermal injuries.
Fakhri faces multiple counts of first and second-degree murder, as well as arson charges. If convicted on the most serious charge, she faces life imprisonment.
The incident occurred on 91st Avenue in the Jamaica area of Queens. Reports suggest that Fakhri may have been struggling with opioid addiction following a dental issue.
