NYC Winter Storm Alert: Snow Possible This Monday?
This weekend, a major winter storm will sweep across the country. While the New York City metro area is expected to mostly avoid the brunt of the storm, AccuWeather forecasts some impact.
Snow Accumulation in NYC and Surrounding Areas

The mid-Atlantic region will experience accumulating snow starting Sunday night into Monday. Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Washington D.C. could see several inches of snow.
New York City itself is only predicted to see a coating to an inch of snow, at most. Areas north of the city may see no snow at all, while areas south have a better chance of seeing more substantial accumulation (an inch or more).

Following the storm, frigid arctic air will descend upon the region, with highs only around 32 degrees Fahrenheit.
