Bronx MTA Bus Dangling Precariously After Guardrail Collision
An MTA bus had a dramatic near-miss on Friday morning in the Bronx. The BxM1 bus crashed into a guardrail on the Henry Hudson Parkway West, over Kappock Street, leaving its front end and at least one wheel dangling precariously over the edge of an overpass near Independence Avenue in Riverdale.

Debris from the impact scattered onto Kappock Street below. Authorities interviewed the driver at the scene, and emergency crews are working to secure the bus using a heavy-duty cable to pull it back to safety.
The incident occurred around 9 a.m. local time, causing a brief disruption to traffic in the area. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
