Brutal Barclay's Center Stabbing: Man Killed by Teens

A 27-year-old man, Michael Hernandez, was fatally stabbed outside the Barclay's Center in Brooklyn, NYC. The attack, which occurred around 9 p.m. on Friday, involved a group of four teenagers. Hernandez was stabbed once in the chest and multiple times in the back.

Despite managing to walk a short distance after the attack, Hernandez collapsed and later succumbed to his injuries at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.

Local residents expressed shock and fear, highlighting the incident's unsettling nature and its impact on the community's sense of safety. One resident initially mistook the screams for the sounds of teenagers playing before realizing the gravity of the situation upon hearing police sirens. Others expressed grief and concern, lamenting the violence plaguing the city.

The police investigation is ongoing.
