Diddy Arrested by Federal Agents in NYC: What We Know About the Charges

Sean "Diddy" Combs was arrested Monday night in New York City by federal agents with Homeland Security Investigations. The arrest comes after a sealed indictment was filed by the United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York, Damian Williams.

Combs was taken into custody at the Park Hyatt hotel in Midtown Manhattan and will spend the night in federal custody before being brought to court for arraignment on Tuesday. The charges against Combs remain sealed, but sources say a federal grand jury in Manhattan returned the indictment.

In March, federal agents raided Combs' Los Angeles and Miami homes as part of the investigation, seizing electronic devices. The searches were part of a federal sex trafficking investigation into the hip-hop and liquor mogul, according to law enforcement sources.
