Markeese Brazelis, 26, a homeless man, was apprehended and charged with assault and reckless endangerment. When questioned by reporters, Brazelis claimed he was hearing voices.
This isn't Brazelis's first encounter with the law. He has previous arrests for sexual abuse (allegedly grabbing a woman's buttocks on a C train) and trespassing on subway tracks.

MTA Chief Security Officer Michael Kemper expressed outrage, stating, "It’s beyond comprehension how this menace can be arrested two different times last week only to be turned loose to cause more mayhem. When will the courthouses get the message? This can’t continue."
