Carr, who previously played for the University of Delaware and Wake Forest, proposed in a gazebo adorned with candles. His fiancée plays field hockey at the University of Delaware.

He shared the joyous news on Instagram, along with the Bible verse 1 John 4:19: “We love because he first loved us.”

Carr's Performance on the Court:

Carr is currently averaging 11.1 points and 6.3 rebounds per game for Kentucky. His coach, Mark Pope, praised Carr's skills and compared him to NBA All-Star Lauri Markkanen.

Pope, however, expressed his desire to see Carr improve his three-point shooting. Carr’s three-point average has dropped from one made three per game at Wake Forest to 0.4 at Kentucky.

Looking Ahead:

With a busy 2025 ahead, including wedding planning and striving for a Kentucky championship, Carr has a lot on his plate! Congratulations to the happy couple!
