## NYC Stabbing Suspect Shot Dead by State Troopers After Manhunt

Ali Ali, wanted for a stabbing in a Brooklyn laundromat, was shot and killed by state troopers in upstate New York on Wednesday.  Ali was identified as the suspect in the stabbing of a 50-year-old woman on Monday.

Troopers attempted to stop Ali's stolen vehicle, but he crashed it and fled into the woods.  After being spotted on a trail camera, Ali was considered "armed and dangerous" by authorities and a shelter-in-place warning was issued for residents.

The shooting occurred around 2 p.m. in a wooded area near Trout Brook Road in Highland Mills.
