Magical Lights Returns to Lincoln Square
This holiday season, Lincoln Square on Manhattan's Upper West Side is once again transformed into a winter wonderland with the return of Magical Lights! This year's event features a captivating new interactive light and sound show, promising an even more magical experience.
A Symphony of Lights and Sound
The iconic London Plane trees along Broadway and 64th Street will be adorned with dazzling lights, synchronized with festive holiday music. This audio-reactive light installation creates a truly immersive experience, making the trees seem to "sing" along to the music. The spectacle extends to Richard Tucker Park and 36 trees in the Broadway Malls, illuminating the area with a vibrant display.
More Than Just Lights
But the magic doesn't stop there! The event kicks off a whole season of holiday entertainment in Lincoln Square, including:
- Holiday-inspired circus acts from the Department of Spectacle
- Swinging jazz performances by The SAINTS of SWING
- Holiday favorites performed by The Fabulous Fezziwigs
- WinteRamble (December 18th): An illuminated community procession with Frost Giant puppets and icicle lanterns.
