A horrifying series of stabbings in New York City left two people dead and one critically injured Monday morning. Police have a suspect in custody and believe the three attacks may be connected.
The Attacks
The first stabbing occurred around 8:30 a.m. near 19th Street and 9th Avenue in Chelsea. A construction worker was fatally stabbed following a verbal altercation.
Hours later, at approximately 10:30 a.m., a 67-year-old man was fatally stabbed outside the Water Club on East 30th Street.
Finally, at 10:55 a.m., a woman was stabbed at 42nd Street and First Avenue. She was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. A suspect was apprehended at the scene of this third attack.
