NYC St. Patrick's Day Parade 2025: Everything You Need to Know
New York City's iconic St. Patrick's Day Parade, celebrating its 264th year, is back! This year's parade promises to be a spectacular display of Irish heritage and culture.
Parade Route and Time
The parade will begin at 11 a.m. on Fifth Avenue, starting at East 44th Street and heading north to East 79th Street.
Transportation and Road Closures
Getting there: The MTA recommends using the 4/5/6 subway lines. They will be adding extra trains on the LIRR and Metro-North.
Road closures: Expect significant traffic delays. The NYC Department of Transportation will be closing numerous streets along the parade route and in surrounding areas. See the full list of closures here.

The best viewing spots are along Fifth Avenue. Arrive early for the best view!
