The Attacks
The first stabbing occurred on a northbound 2 train at the 14th Street and Seventh Avenue station. Banks allegedly argued with a 31-year-old man before stabbing him in the back.
The second stabbing happened at the Pelham Parkway station on a northbound 5 train platform. Banks is accused of stabbing an off-duty MTA employee in the armpit and back after an argument.
