Construction is nearly complete on the public plaza at One High Line, a luxurious residential development in Chelsea, Manhattan. This stunning new space, designed by Diller Scofidio + Renfro and Field Operations, features beautifully landscaped areas and ground-floor retail.
A Public-Private Partnership
The plaza is a collaboration between the City of New York and Friends of the High Line. It sits beside the impressive 36- and 26-story residential towers designed by Bjarke Ingels Group. The entire complex boasts 236 condo units and a future Faena Hotel.
Art and Amenities
Currently, a rotating art piece, 'Beyond the Horizon' by Malgorzata Mirga-Tas, is on display. The retail spaces are still under development. Residents will enjoy upscale amenities such as a lap pool, fitness center, game room, and a sky bridge lounge.
Access and Connectivity
A new public staircase is under construction, providing convenient access from the sidewalk to the High Line. The plaza’s completion is expected later this spring.
