Upstate New York Plane Crash: A Tragic Outcome
On Saturday afternoon, a Mitsubishi MU-2B plane crashed in a field near Copake, New York, while en route to the Columbia County Airport in Hudson. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) confirmed that six people were on board. Local authorities reported the crash as fatal, but official confirmation of the death toll and identities is pending family notification.

Witnesses are being interviewed, and the cause of the crash is yet to be determined. The crash occurred in an open field, according to Columbia County authorities.
This incident follows a separate helicopter crash in the Hudson River earlier in the week, resulting in six fatalities. The NTSB is also investigating that incident.
