The East Village just got a whole lot tastier with the arrival of Wayne & Sons, a new Tex-Mex spot serving up delicious tacos, queso, and margaritas. Located at 221 Second Avenue, this casual eatery is quickly making a name for itself with its unique take on classic Tex-Mex dishes.
The Star of the Show: The Crunchy Taco
Wayne & Sons isn't your average Tex-Mex joint. They've elevated the humble crunchy taco to star status, featuring the Wayne's Crunch Taco with beef picadillo, smoky sauce, tomatoes, and onions. Their Textopos (thicker-than-usual tortilla chips) and made-to-order queso are also crowd-pleasers.
