Witness Account
A witness, Ryan Tucker, described the scene, recounting how the cab hit his wife and a young boy who was trapped under the vehicle. He and other bystanders helped free the boy and his mother, Australian tourists. The injured boy reportedly said it was the "worst holiday ever."

The taxi was traveling northbound on Sixth Avenue before veering onto the sidewalk. Police are investigating the incident.
