Queens Nightclub Shooting Leaves 10 Injured

Late Wednesday night, a mass shooting outside the Amazura nightclub in Queens, New York left ten people wounded. Police say three or four gunmen opened fire on a group of approximately 15 young adults waiting to enter a private event at around 11:15 PM.

The Incident

The suspects, described as men on foot, approached the group of 16- to 20-year-olds and fired approximately 30 shots before fleeing the scene in a sedan with out-of-state plates. Six women and four men sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to local hospitals.

Police Response

The NYPD's Chief of Patrol, Philip Rivera, addressed the incident, stating there was "zero tolerance for these senseless shootings." While the motive remains under investigation, authorities confirmed the shooting was not an act of terrorism.

Social media footage showed a significant police presence and numerous ambulances at the scene following the shooting.
